Con-Tech Systems
Con-Tech Systems was founded in 1985 by Horst Aschebroich in Canada. It has grown to 5 manufacturing facilities in the United States and Canada with even more Sales and Engineering Divisions in each country. Mr. Aschebroich has been involved in the industry for many years and understands the need for better options for his customers.
Recently, Con-Tech Systems obtained a patent for the IBO, Injection Boring system. This system has been a major contributor to the company's growth and success since its founding. Con-Tech's business can be seen all over the world. It is primarily in the Geo-Support Industry. This industry includes anything from retaining walls to systems along highways keeping the earth from falling down. We've all heard of rock slides. Con-Tech’s products and systems prevent this disaster from happening.
The first step to stabilizing the earth is to drill. This can be very difficult in some parts of the country given the soil itself and different types of ground terrain. Con-Tech’s IBO, Injection Boring, has helped its customers more easily overcome some major obstacles. The IBO is a dynamic pressure grouted, casting free, single step installation. It suits all ground conditions and is a rapid as well as effective ground and structural stabilization. With this innovative process, Con-Tech now controls about 40% of its market share.
Con-Tech Systems is also the exclusive North American Distributor for Titan Bar (trademark). This product accounts for 50% of its total sales annually and is used widely in its industry. You can see all of Con-Tech's products and services largely used in road construction projects, dams, and commercial construction. Primary uses are geo-support systems, seismic retrofit systems, retaining system, and form-tie systems.
Con-Tech's success is not only due to a better system, but better service as well. Kent Walker-Sales/Estimator for the Charlotte Division says "we go the extra mile for our customers". Most of Con-Tech’s competitors close at 5pm but it's not unusual for Con-Tech’s employees to work late or even personally deliver products to their customers’ job sites on weekends. "It’s what sets us apart, knowing they can count on us to do what we say and be a partner with our customers," Kent remarked.
Namasco's relationship with Con-Tech started in 2005 with the opening of its Charlotte Division. Con-Tech needed a reliable partner and competitive source for pipe and processed plate. It was quickly discovered that the Charlotte Division of Namasco will go the extra mile for its customers regardless of whether it’s same day or next day delivery. Namasco is constantly involved with Con-Tech, from Jane Troutman on the inside to Don Woodruff the Branch Manager to Danny Dye, CAD/CAM and plate scheduling, as well as Tim Belk in outside sales. Con-Tech knows it can contact anyone from Namasco for help. Namasco values its relationship with Con-Tech and is currently working on new products with the company, including machining of plates and new AISI grades of steel. This progression will facilitate both groups to grow and better their business.
